There’s a new Jaws guide to File Explorer on Windows 10. It includes a detailed description of how to use the ribbon.

Audacity 2.1.0

The Jaws guide to Audacity has been updated for version 2.1.0 of this free multi-track audio editor. New features include:

  • A new recording meter, which is more accessible – the peak level during a monitoring session can be read by screen readers.
  • A new improved Noise reduction effect, which replaces the Noise removal effect.
  • A limited introduction of real-time preview for effects.

Audacity 2.0.5

The Jaws guide to Audacity has been updated for version 2.0.5 of this free multi-track audio editor. One of the recent new features which is available if you’re using Windows Vista or later, is that using the WASAPI audio interface you can record the audio being sent to a playback device even if your sound card doesn’t support “Stereo Mix”.
